Dr. McElhinney specializes in comprehensive eye care including the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, routine examinations and contact lenses.
Dr. McElhinney graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi.
She earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas. She went on to do her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas.
Dr. McElhinney completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the Eye Foundation at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During her residency she was awarded Consultant of the Year by the Department of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. McElhinney is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
