Tumors of the Eye Socket

Performed by:

William L. White, MD

Basal cell, squamous cell, sebaceous cell carcinomas and melanomas are types of cancers that Dr. White treats. The eyelids and the skin around the eyes are common places for skin cancers to occur.

Cancers can also form on the surface of the eyeball and inside the eye. Some tumors can be treated with a combination of medications and surgery. When necessary, part or all the eye may need to be removed and the patient fitted with a prosthetic eye.
